Robert A. Bernstein
Robert Bernstein is an Associate at Coleman, Hazzard, Taylor, Klaus, Doupé & Diaz, PA. He represents businesses and individuals in complex matters including construction litigation, commercial litigation, probate & trust litigation, and employment litigation.
Robert joined the firm’s Litigation practice in July 2019. Prior to joining the team, Robert practiced in the areas of commercial and construction litigation, and represented clients throughout the state of Florida, including Miami, Islamorada, Ft. Myers, Ft. Lauderdale, Panama City, Tampa, and Naples.
He has been licensed to practice law since 2014, and is admitted in all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Robert is a member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Section, and the Young Lawyers Division. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute Southwest Florida and the Collier County Bar Association.
Robert received his juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and in the top 12 percent of his class. During law school, Robert served on the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar Association Law Student Division, acting as a liaison between law students and the Florida legal community. He also gained experience interning for the Honorable Robert M. Gross at Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal, the Office of General Counsel for Florida’s Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised in Boca Raton, Florida. Robert moved to Naples in September 2017, where he now lives with his fiancée and his dog.
